Our design service can help you create inclusive and engaging information and communication materials. We advise on accessibility, style and content to ensure that your materials are widely accessible.
We also design nature-based resources, games and sensory stories and offer an editorial and graphic design service for the development of publications.
We can create online access guides to inform visitors about accessibility of your venue and advise more generally on accessible information.
Games to connect people with nature
We love the way that games can connect people with the outdoors. We have designed our game gofindit as well as games for other people.
gofindit
gofindit is an international bestselling scavenger hunt card game that invites you to use all your senses. The inclusive design of the cards helps support language development and each card represents a different sensory characteristic you can find in nature.
STOMP
We were commissioned by NHS England to create a game for their campaign ‘Stopping Over Medication of People with a learning disability, autism or both.’ It is a national project involving many organisations that are helping to stop the overuse of these medicines. STOMP is about helping people to stay well and have a good quality of life. Our simple, inclusive game is designed to engage people with a learning disability, autism or both in how their medication is being managed.
Publication writing
We undertake publication writing and editing within the field of outdoor access.
We have written national guidance publications for English Heritage, Natural England and Natural Resources Wales.
This includes Easy Access to Historic Landscapes (EH) (link) and By All Reasonable Means (NE and NRW)
We can also act as an advisor on published guidance giving valuable support and expertise on technical criteria and inclusive principles.

We offer full publication design and layout services bringing expertise inclusive information design.
Sensing nature is a guidance booklet sharing the findings of a research project exploring nature perspectives of people living with sight impairment. Dr Sarah Bell who undertook the research commissioned us to design the layout and illustrations.

Inclusive interpretation
We offer design services to make interpretation more accessible to a wider audience. We design banners, information panels, trail posts and guides amongst other things.
Online access guides
An online access guide provides key information to enable people with disabilities to plan their visit. Guides such as these will often be the deciding factor for many people as to whether they visit a venue or attraction.
We can help you by undertaking a review of your venue and identify key access information to include in the guide.
