Commercial development

Claire spearheaded our first Kickstarter campaign to support the development of a new sensory card game 'gofindit'. Thanks to the growing success of gofindit Claire has created Sensory Trust's e-commerce platform which now boasts a variety of different activities and resources connecting people with the outdoors.

Claire has been working closely with Eden Project to deliver relaxed/autism friendly sessions of their main seasonal events. Starting with Father Christmas in 2015 the relaxed sessions have grown in popularity enabling children with additional needs from all over the country to enjoy Eden at their own pace in a comfortable environment.

In earlier work, Claire has run the Connecting Carers with Nature project, providing outdoor visits and nature-based activities for the benefit of young and older carers. This work created a resource base of creative activities designed to engage people of all ages and abilities. She also worked on our Let Nature Feed Your Senses project, creating resources to support the national programme of sensory-rich farm visits. She has created a new Creative Activities for Carers blog to provide carers with access to free resources, ideas and networks.

As part of our community development work, Claire worked with Heidi Morgan to develop connections and engage communities around the Clay Trails in mid Cornwall. The project culminated in a series of community events and a new website.

Claire continues to develop new activities and resources both for use within projects and for sale, watch this space for gofindit 2!
