Families needed for Cornwall case study

As part of the next phase of SNAP we are looking for some families to take part in a case study. This would involve your family trialing some of our resources and making some visits to different places near to where you live. You would then feedback to us on your experiences. All resources and any entry fees will be covered by SNAP.

On Saturday 12 May 2018 we will be running a collaborative day with the families from Moorvision in Devon. We will be getting involved with a sensory story based in the landscape, going on a texture treasure hunt trail and foraging for natural materials.

In February we will be testing some of our new resources with the children of Mayfield special school in Torquay.

We will be running nature based activity sessions with children and young people at Little Harbour hospice on 7 and 17 March.

In March we will be training teachers from a range of schools in the Portsmouth area on techniques for incorporating nature and the outdoors into sensory learning. This will be an excellent opportunity for us to share our learnings from the SNAP project so far.

On 16 August we will be running a nature adventure day for families involved with Cornwall Neighbourhoods for change.
