Inclusive Action Group

Meeting 3

The Inclusive Action Group in Weston Park

As an opportunity to focus on urban greenspace and to highlight a local authority that is taking a positive approach to planning, design and management, our 3rd meeting was held in Norfolk Heritage Park, in Sheffield. It was hosted by Martin Page, the Head of Parks, Woodlands & Countryside Service, for Sheffield City Council.

Details of the programme:

The future developments of the Inclusive Action Group were highlighted by Jo Easingwood and following feedback from members new potentials include:

  • Online discussion forum
  • Articles by IAG members on this website
  • Further site visits

It was also felt that one of the best outputs of the IAG was the information exchange and sharing of knowledge. The impetus on this will remain, and hopefully will be strengthened through future IAG meetings.
