The need for this directory arose initially from the observation that a number of sites described in various listings as being suitable for disabled people were, in fact, far from suitable.

It was felt that what was needed was a new and more comprehensive guide which gave more precise details of the facilities as well as the wildlife interest.

If you do find a copy from some other source, such as a library or second hand bookshop, please note that this directory was published in 1999 and some of the information may well be out of date.

Will there ever be another edition?

Never say "never", although you might say "highly unlikely". Putting together a gazette like this is an enormous project, and we are currently fully engaged in other work.
