Accessible Information training eventsFor many people, a lack of information is the greatest barrier to using and enjoying public space. Appropriate, useful information, presented in ways that are engaging and accessible is one of the most significant and cost-effective improvements you can make to your site. Appropriate, accessible information can improve the experience for your existing visitors and broaden the audience for your site as a whole. These one day training events look at how information fits in to the Access Chain. They combine examples of good practice with practical workshops using tools developed by the Sensory Trust to assess the quality of information provision and look at ways to make existing information more accessible. Hands-on experience, creative idea sharing and a positive practical approach will make these events invaluable for all managers of parks, woodlands, countryside and heritage sites.
There are no accessible information training days currently planned. Join our mailing list to receive updates when we confirm dates and venues for these and other training events.
